Staff Biographies

Juliana Perez, Executive Director: Juliana Perez stepped into the role of Executive Director for the organization in September, 2008. She joined the Safe Crossing Foundation Board of Directors in the summer of 2005 and fulfilled the role of Treasurer for two years. Ms. Perez received a Master’s Degree in Social Work and brings a professional career spanning over 20 years in corporate finance, business operations, and accounting. Juliana is committed to and passionate about community service, especially in areas that impact children. The support Juliana received after the death of her husband and while caring for her two children created a strong personal interest in supporting children dealing with death and bereavement.

Molly Sedlik Hasson, Operations Manager: Molly has 12 years of experience in development, project management and non-profit leadership from her previous role as Director of the Seattle Jewish Film Festival as well as her eight years with Safe Crossings Foundation. With two small children, Molly works part-time from home and finds balancing work and family to be an ongoing yet manageable challenge. Molly is passionate about working for an organization that effectively spreads love and hope to so many tender hearts and minds.
