Staff Biographies

Juliana Perez, Executive Director (September 2008): Juliana Perez stepped into the role of Executive Director for the organization in September, 2008. She joined the Safe Crossing Foundation Board of Directors in the summer of 2005 and fulfilled the role of Treasurer for two years. Ms. Perez received a Master’s Degree in Social Work and brings a professional career spanning over 20 years in corporate finance, business operations, and accounting. Juliana has a commitment and passion to community service, especially in areas that impact children. The support Juliana received after the loss of her husband and while caring for her two children created a strong personal interest in supporting children dealing with death and bereavement.

Molly Sedlik Hasson, Operations Manager: Molly has 10 years of experience in development, project management and non-profit leadership from her previous role as Director of the Seattle Jewish Film Festival to her five years with The Safe Crossings Foundation. With two small children, Molly works part-time from home and finds that balancing work and family to be an ongoing yet manageable challenge. Molly is passionate about working for an organization that so effectively spreads love and hope to so many tender hearts and minds.
