"Dia de los Muertos: A Time to Remember" was directed and produced by Valerie Griffith of Blue Moon Productions, underwritten by Harbers Family Foundation and features still photography by Art Wolfe. This moving video showcases the traditional Day of the Dead celebration in Patzcuaro, Mexico and highlights the beauty, honor and celebration that are the essentials of grieving in that culture. The video was inspired by a connection between the positive impact that the Safe Crossings Children's Grief Counseling Program had on Renee Harbers' children after the death of their father, and a Day of the Dead celebration the children participated in at school.

Produced for our annual Pediatric Luncheon, this 8-minute video will introduce you to families served by Providence Hospice, including Thomas L. Hall, current board member, and his daughters who participated in the Safe Crossings Program that our foundation helps fund.
